MY THOUGHTS - LOVED IT

This is an adorable book that follows Mister Spunky in his red sports car on a trip to the beach where he encounters several puppies in distress.  He stops for a sad dog who is crying because she is bullied. Another three stops pick up a blind dog, an unloved dog and an angry dog.  Each of them helped by friendship. The pictures are nicely done and can create whole stories on their own.  This would be an excellent first reader to get kids familiar with empathy.
